Penetration
Tester.
Cyborg. Builder.

I'm Petr Ziegner, a penetration tester and ethical hacker, a programmer, and a cyborg. I break systems so they can be rebuilt stronger, and I run biomodification and human augmentation experiments on myself.

About Me

I'm a penetration tester and ethical hacker. I break into systems so they can be made harder to break into. I write code, tinker with hardware, and build tools that solve real problems.

Away from the console, the thing I'm most into is biomodification. I've got a handful of implants in my hands and I follow where human augmentation is heading pretty closely. Older hobbies still hang around too: cars, and the occasional bit of radio, though I'm hardly ever on the air these days.

What I do

I'm a penetration tester with hands on experience across a wide range of target types: web applications, APIs, internal networks, cloud environments, OT and SCADA systems, ATMs, embedded devices, wireless protocols, desktop applications, and hardware. The work is methodical. Map the attack surface, find what breaks, document it clearly, and help fix it.

My background spans freelance work, a corporate consultancy, programming roles, an internship, and teaching programming to kids. That range keeps the perspective honest. Security work improves when you have built the systems you're breaking and explained the concepts to someone who has never heard of them.

Outside structured engagements I run p0c.cz, a toolkit of security utilities for practitioners. I also keep active in hardware hacking and the evolving world of human augmentation.
